Watercolor pencils & water-soluble pencils

I own this set of inktense pencils. I use them just as I would watercolor pencils, despite them being ink-based. I love their truly intense color. I only use them for fun, please note they might not be fit for commissions and professional work as they are not lightfast. They're awesome for practice and fun.

My YouTube subscribers told me about this amazing tool for all painters and especially helpful to watercolor pencil and water-soluble crayon artists! The palette has a smooth side for regular paints and a rough one for everything else so it's very easy to mix smooth washes from there, with anything water-soluble :)

I own this exact set of watercolor pencils. I love they're great quality and hardly leave any pencil lines after activating with water.

I've owned this set since Christmas of 2022 and not surprisingly because this brand is highly qualitative, these pencils are a blast to use. They layer well, blend well and colors look vibrant. A more affordable, similar alternative is the Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils.

Although I haven't publicly reviewed these watercolor pencils, I own this tin. They will be interesting for someone on a tight budget or someone who just wants to try watercolor pencils but they're not as vibrant as the other brands I recommend and I find them a bit dry. Overall okay, however.

These are water-soluble pencils and they act similarly to watercolor pencils, except they're made with charcoal. I have published a video using them and I particularly love the muted tones I'm able to achieve.

I bought this pad. The paper is excellent. It compares to Arches though (Arches is less expensive and works similarly on my watercolor pencils and inktense).
