This is a GREAT alternative to a cone! When your dog has stiches and you want them to leave them alone, this can really be a great substitute for a cone!

The Comfy Cone! Sometimes the surgical suits and the inflatable cones aren't enough, and you need an old school cone for your pet. It doesn't have to be made out of plastic though! The Comfy cone is a great alternative for your pet!
Inflatable Cones are a great alternative to hard plastic cones. They won't work in all situations, but they will make your pets much happier! These cones make it so they can still have their normal vision! And they make a great pillow as well!
Vetrap is great to have on hand all the time, because you never know when you might need it! If your dog has surgery in an area that will need to be aired out and then re-wrapped, you will need this stuff!

BOOTS! If your pet has surgery on their paw, you can buy an oversized boot or paw cover so that their wrap doesn't get soaked when they go outside! One of our huskies had paw surgery in the wintertime and the boot really helped!

Pill Pockets! These are GREAT for getting your dog to take pills that they don't want to take! If these don't' work for your dog, try cream cheese, or peanut butter!
Keeping your dogs busy during recovery can be difficult, since they aren't supposed to be active, and running around. But dogs NEED mental stimulation! So having a Snuffle Mat, and some other treat dispensing toys, and puzzle toys can really help you keep them entertained, and exercise their brain as well!

Support lift! I have one of these, but have never had to use it, but I am glad I have it in my box of surgery recover items! If you have a large dog that has any type of surgery, you will be glad you have this to help you lift them!

Orthopedic Pet Beds can be a great way to help your dog during their recovery. I keep my dogs in the same room as me when they have stiches, and I try to keep lights low, and keep things calm. I always move their bed from room to room so they have a comfy place to sleep while recovering.
Washable wonders were so helpful when our older female had surgery and was leaking a bit. These soak up SO much and are washable! These are for female dogs. I will post the ones for male dogs as well. I have used A LOT of Dog Diapers in my life, and these, by far, are my favorite.
Washable Wonders for Male dogs! Sometimes after surgery, accidents happen, and you will be glad you have these on hand! I have used many dog diapers and these are by far my favorite!

Adaptil works great for most pets to help keep them calm after surgery. This diffuser just plugs in and it lasts for 30 days. It also works after they are all recovered from surgery as well!

A GOOD Ramp for your dog! This one is a large one, and it's amazing. It was actually designed by a friend of ours! We highly recommend this ramp!

This is another alternative to the pill pocket to help get your pets to take those pills they might not want to take!

A soft side kennel can also be a good idea when you have a dog recovering from surgery. It's a safe place, that you can keep dark and calm for them, to nap in, or to stay in when you can't keep an eye on them.
