Direct Messages
Send and receive messages with other MakerManifest users
Direct Messages let any logged-in MakerManifest user send a private message to any other user. Messages are delivered to the recipient's dashboard inbox. You can message other creators, respond to collaborations, ask questions about gear, or reach out to partners.
Messages are not real-time chat, but MakerManifest checks for new messages every 30 seconds while you're logged in and whenever you switch back to the browser tab. A slide-in toast notification appears when a new message arrives, so you don't miss anything while you're working in the dashboard.
The @help system account is also reachable via direct messages. If you need support, sending a message to @help puts you directly in contact with the MakerManifest support team — it's faster than the contact form for account-specific questions.
